Good job on Fruity Loops, nice work here. Really like the effects, and some may be just a bit weird for my taste, but that is just me. I'm mastering Fruity Loops 5 as well, already made my first "song" after fives days of use. Not sure on weather to put it out just yet. Again, awesome job on the effects. If you can, tell me some of those effects, and I'll see what they can do for me too.

Thanks alot. I'm not good with effects becuz I'm brand new with them, but I tried to make it sound hard. I don't remember all the effects I used, but I used Reverb for the distant effect in the accoustic guitar. I used Blood Overdrive with the Drive preset(i believe) on the drumset(FPC). The part where everything got kind of distant sounding near the end, I put everything under the "Multiband Compressor" effect using the "small radio" preset. It makes it sound pretty cool.
Put your song on here, I'll give you a good review and some feedback. Thanks for the review, I appreciate it a lot and if you every want some help or something you know where to find me.

Hey, it sounds okay, but could have used slightly more variety. Also, it sounds like you were using Fruity Loops as well. But don't worry as usual, you will eventually get use to making music a little more regularly. Just give it some time.

Obviously great talent from you, with many of the same comments from others and my other reviews of your songs. The voice for this sounds so much like "Morpheus," or it could just be me. You have offered great momentum from all of your songs, and I hope it will continue. Do not let that talent of yours go to waste. And, I am probably guessing you might have a CD out now or later. You would get business from me, and likely some others. Looking forward to your next better song.

It's actually Sam Jackson in Pulp Fiction. Thanks for the kind words.

Most definately an urban type of Dance song. The siplicity of it is a nice touch. Looping this audio should be real nice, though some may complain that it is repetitive. Great job on this audio, and congradulations on your "Top 5" music on Newgrouds for the week.

"Great for the ears, and runs the imagination."
Excellent piece of work, and getting better. And yes, the simplicity of this song DOES make it great. Though, for a simple song, it seems confounding, and diverse for something like this. The music in general is not "amature," but should be considered professional work (wouldn't that be nice if I could pay for this).
The imagination part of this song just makes my brain "blackout" (in a good way) and is better than using designer drugs, (not that I tried it, but this song would probably be better). I am ready for the next best song, and you are that artist that can do that.
Author's Response:
OK... To the first part, I agree simplicity is vital. But weaving a deep complexity into the simplicity is just as important, whether it is lyrically or sonically or a slightly altered note scheme. The song must be simple, but also sort of surprise the listener. That is the catch and without the catch a musician will fail... I don't know if you would want do pay... :) If I charged $30 a download I would be able to make music full time. :) The fact that you call my music "professional" is very flattering, thanks. Part two: I've done the drugs and I will tell you they ruined music for me for about a year (as in not being able to write) but only now am I starting to create again minus the influence. Wehat a great feeling. And it is especially satisfying when peopl enjoy my "sober" music as much as my "high as a kite" music. From experience, the drugs are definitely a waste of time. Thanks again.

How do you describe something this unique and REALLY nice? Listening to this can really make my day for weeks on end. Effects are well put together, 90% evenly spaced out. Few rough edges on this piece of work. Hope more of this "pro" quality audio can really help with your portfolio, or resume.
Author's Response:
Portfolio... Heh. You'd laugh if you knew where I work. Anyway. Music is not at all something I am trying to pursue to make money, just for your enjoyment.
